The DC26 is a good recommendation, although, it does NOT have a bare floor switch. The DC23 (for $100 more) DOES have a bare floor switch. Also, it contains dust particles and pet hair ( a plus if there are allergies in the home). Hope this helps ![]()

Hello,
I'll ask a few questions first. Do you have pets? Do you have lot's of furniture creating close spaces (the space between coffee table and couch for example)
I always recommend the Dyson Animal vacuums if you have pets, because for price you get a lot of useful attatchments which cost you a lot if you buy them each seperate later on.
