I have ordered Sharp 9500 BTU Portable Air Conditioner last week online at futureshop for $599.99 and it has not yet arrived. Today i checked the price dropped to $499.99 so should i return the air conditioner and get a refund and reorder it or could i talk to somebody and get a credit on the difference? If i return it, will i be charged for the shipping fee? What are my options? Any suggestion is greatly appreciated. Thanks

During the normal return/exchange period, all you have to do is provide a receipt that indicates you paid a higher price, and FS will give you the difference. I believe it even considers the online component of the store a competitor, so you should also get 10% off of that difference.

thnx for the info, but i returned the product back to futureshop because they sent me an open box one. I'm so dissappointed when i opened the box and find out it is an open box since i had waited at home for the last couple days for the product to arrive.

Quite interesting that a website would allow an open box item to be sent out of its wharehouse, i do hope you have got a new Factory Fresh one as it is what u intended lol. In anycase you do have 30 days from purchase date regardless if online or in store purchase to redeem your sale price. When you return your OB item for a fresh one just tell them of the sale and your purchase price and your method of origional payment will be redeemed.

Air conditioners only have a 14 day return policy. Not a 30 day.
