Hi all!
I hit a snag when planning our new kitchen. I really need to get a counter depth fridge now because of the configuration of the counters etc. I would like it to be wider than the standard 30" since I will be losing space in the depth.....so 36"?
Any recommendations? I am not bothered about water/ice through the door, but I would like freezer drawer on the bottom.

May I reccomend the Samsung unit RFG237AARS
It is 35 1/2 inches wide, and not including the handles is only 27 inches deep. It has the pull out drawer. It does have the ice and water dispenser though. It is 2799.99
One of the nice things with Samsung is they use two separate cooling systems in their refrigerators. One for Freezer, one for Fridge. It makes the unit more energy efficient, and having two cooling systems keeps the temperatures more even, and hence the food lasts longer in it.
The other choice would be the Kitchenaid unit KFCS22EVMS
It does not have Ice and water through the door, though it still has a water dispenser inside the fridge, and an ice maker inside the freezer. It is 3799.99
If you want to go with something a lot narrower, and save quite a bit of money, consider the Samsung RF197ABRS
It has an ice maker in the freezer. It does not have a water dispenser. It is only 32 1/2 inches wide. It is 1699.99
All of these units are considered counter depth and would work for your situation. Caution, all of these units are just under 70 inches in height. Make sure you have the clearance to fit these units in to your space, ie. they fit beneath your cupboards.
I hope this helps your decision.
