Whirlpool has been around for long time and as for that particular stove has some great features like steam clean for example. Steam clean can clean out your oven faster than self cleaning and you can leave the racks in with steam clean.
European or otherwise known as true-convection means there is a heating element around the fan at the back. As opposed to north american or airvection where it is just the fan itself.
