The warrenty on the Toaster would depend on if you are refering to our Product Service Plan/Product Replacment Plan as we then would offer you a couple options on that depending on the price of the product as the 2 plans are by price point by either way would be min 2 years and if you do have one of these 2 plans you would be covered for pretty much anything as long as it does not involve physical damage or water damage.
Otherwise you would have Breville's 1yr manufacturer warrenty for Defective Parts and Labour only.
for example Future Shop will cover performance and power surge but Breville will not they will cover the contol panel shorting out ONLY if it is related to a defect in workmanship or parts eg. solder did not connect properly not because of a surge in power from your home.
Otherwise you have 30 days to return the product to any Future Shop with a Receipt for refund to original payment method or store credit as long as the product is still in orginal condition.
