At the moment we speak, there's is absolutely no BD players or another video source that can ouput a 120 Hz signal. Only with 3D players, will this capability be exploited.
Ya thats right, blu ray players output 1080P/24 via HDMI v1.3, or at least mine does, and then that frame rate is multiplied by 5 at my tv to get 120Hz. I also think I seen a sticker on my new TV in the store that said "1080P/24". Guess I'll find out this weekend when the TV arrives to see what thats all about.

Exactly, the picture on a BD is stored at 24 ips like the frame rate of the original movie. And TVs that can accept this rate are identified 1080p/24. The 120 Hz ACL multiply the number of images by 5 to create a 120 ips rate. The plasmas by contrast multiply by 2, 3 or sometimes 4 so we see plasma TV's with 48Hz, 72Hz or 96 Hz frame rate. The goal is to eliminate the "judder" in the image created by the process of converting the 24 ips cadence to 60 ips (called 2-3 pulldown) required by the regular TVs.
All that just to say that there's is no video sources that can output a 120 Hz rate and that the 120 Hz rate we see on HDMI cable are only marketing. Not yet until the first 3D Blu-ray players hit the streets.
