I bought a Sharp Aquos Quattron 60 inch TV and though the picture is awesome, the sound is absolutely CR*P !!! What speakers can be used with the TV so the TV remote automatically does the sound instead of yet another remote and something else to turn on
It will sound better than your TV's speakers, but do not expect actual surround sound. You can get a real surround package for $600, which is good for a small to mid sized room:
And then you can purchase a Logitech Harmony remote which will control All your hometheater equipment; tv, a/v receiver, satellite or cable box, bluray player etc...
Any kind of speakers that are connected using the RCA audio cables (red and white cable) will connect to the tv and is controlled when you change the volume using the remote, sometimes you just need to change an audio setting on the tv to make sure the audio goes to the external speakers
