I just purchased a Samsung home theater surund sound system but the speaker wires that plug into the unit are short, How can I splice them or can I purchase longer ones
Speaker wires can be spliced as long as you make sure you splice them positive/positive and negative/negative/. Since most wires are color coded red/black or black/white this shouldn't be an issue. I would however only suggest doing this if you have no other option. Splicing the wires can cause a difference in sound quality and if done incorrectly could damage your speakers or components. So that being said my suggestion would be buy more speaker wire in the correct length.
