Hello,

I noticed that the Klipsch reference IV were on sale this week. I went in to buy them and they seem to be completely out everywhere; my local shop had them flipped to OB. These have been out for a while, so I assume they are due for a turnover in models. 

Is there any information available about when this speaker set will be replaced with new reference speakers from Klipsch?

The updated "II" version of Kliipsch's Reference V series of speakers started shipping almost two years ago - Future Shop has until now been one of the few retailers still selling the original version, probably from a large existing stock. The existing stock of RF-82s seems to have finally been sold out.

This is primarily a peer-to-peer discussion forum, so it is rare that you will get a response from a Future Shop employee with "inside information" on what products Future Shop will stock, and when. That being said we can only guess as to when Future Shop will begin to stock the current "II" series - or whether Future Shop will continue to sell selected models in the Reference V series at all.

I see that now, I'd love to look into the II version. I had one of the employees check their inventory and their distribution center is out with none on order, its a good sign that the model is finally cleared out. 

I'll wait until the new series is stocked at FS, thank you for your advice.

The new Klipsch line-up has begun to land in Future Shop stores. Product is similar to Reference IV but features new Jet Black Grilles and front baffles. Saw them at the training event in Toronto this week, they are HOT!

I've been checking every now and then to see when they will be listed on futureshop's website. 

Is the model you are referring to the RF-82 II?

So it looks like a new klipsch tower has been SKU'd and is available for sale online. No photos yet and there is no reference (no pun intended) to the model on klipsch or any other website which is odd.

im kinda late replying but they are the rf 600 and rf 800 they are nearly the same new grilles, check em out!

The sale this week on the klipsch floor standers is a scam sale. the same speaker last couple weeks were on for 399.99 for the 600b and 499.99 for the 800b... now due to the "sale 2 for 1" the individual price has been increased by 300 bucks on both. Just a warning.

Also when the 2 for 1 sale started the 800b klipsch floor standers we indeed 499.99 each still and when I pointed it out... the price changed tpo the 799.99 each over night. Gotta love it.
