bose cinemate ii

So far I've watched one blueray movie with a lot of action in it, and a DVD with little action in it. And so far I haven't heard the surround sound that the Bose speakers are supposed to put out. I have a Panasonic Blue ray player, and a smart TV, everything is set up right. So I don't know what's up with not hearing the surround sound.

Any suggestions on what's up with it or if I take it back any suggestions on what to get instead?

I mean with this Bose System it seems you have to turn up the volume really loud to get the enjoyment out of the surround sound. And being there are more people living here turn up the sound that loud interferes with them watching their shows.

Help please.

Re: bose cinemate ii

How far are you away from your system ? Are all of the connections set up properly? How big is the room you have it in? Alot of times a bigger room can cause an audio system to sound quieter but being experienced with the cinemate II i'd be on connections in most cases worst case senario maybe you purchased a defective unit if so just exchange it, also FS has a great home theatre setup program if you can't figue it out why not have them come out.
