Has anybody heard about the vsx 1325 having issues with the subwoofer

i tested it with another cable no woofer, reset everything on the receiver and the woofer nothing..

moved it up the other receiver and it works?

so its the receiver and I heard that there was some issue with this..

This can be caused by a couple of setup issues. If in your speaker settings your front speakers are set to large than you have to make sure it is set to output bass to both your front speakers and your subwoofer. Setting would be either;

Subwoofer "LFE + F L+R"

or

Front "Large + LFE"

or

Front "Small"

This should clear up the issue. Also make sure that your subwoofer is connected to the Subwoofer Pre-out and not the 7.1 channel inputs that have an RCA labled as Subwoofer.
