Don't bubble wrap your kids.. they arent fine china they wont break from every little bump and scrape, sometimes you just need to let them get hurt (dont intentionally get them hurt of course), you will drive your self crazy if you spend all day every day trying to make sure nothing bad happens.

I'll second that - yesterday while we were walking back from the pool, my daughter slipped and cut her knee on the ground for the Nth time. This time it was bleeding pretty good. We kept walking, blood running down her leg. Was good times.
