I bought my DLSR in January. I have used it until now; seems to have ceased completely. It can't be the battery, because this works in a similar camera. Should I send the camera back to Markham, ON for repairs? Or is it possible to repair it at any Future Shop Store? Thanks Nicholas

What do you mean by ceased completely? Not turning on? Frozen? For your repair, did you purchase the Produce Service Plan with the camera? If so, bring your camera in to any Future Shop store and we will be happy to facilitate the repair for you. If you did not purchase the Produce Service Plan, you can give Olympus a call and see if there is a repair depot drop off for you or if you have to send the camera in to them for the repair.

What is a "Produce Service Plan"? I have the normal and the one-year Extended E-System Digital SLR Body warranties. The camera ceased means it does not turn on, and does not communicate with coomputer!

Product Service Plan is the future shop plan which includes an extended warranty. You could purchase when you puchased the product. If you have the Olympus warranty. Give the manufacturer a call and they will be able to facilitate the repair for you.
