There's a kind of symmetry of colour to that one. Having the pole slightly off center gives it an appealing perspective. I like it!

Yes, definitely a great moment you captured there. Good eye.

If you have the opportunity try making a second copy where you crop out the bottom fifth of the picture (just above the white rope going across) and up the contrast (applying a S-curve) and color saturation. The photo was taken on a beautiful sunny day, so the colors are naturally a little 'washed' out.

Then compare the two copies. My guess is the second one will make the motif 'pop' out more and do even greater justice to the moment you captured.

There's a restaurant called Fatburger here in Van (they're all across the states and there are a few here in Canada). They sell a burger called the King. It's a half pound of beef. You can get a second patty on it. That's a double King.

It would kill most men.

It'd be nicer if the rose was the focal point and not the leaves, but still a nice photo.
