These two cameras are extremely similar with respect to their feature set and size. I'm not sure where you're looking to buy these, but I'll keep price out of the equation.
Size, LCD size, VGA video, aspheric elements... I'll also leave these out because they're similar.
If I were you, I would just try both out and see which one you prefer in terms of operation, software, and handling. The Kodak had good reviews with repsect to menu layout and access. But, if you're going to shoot in auto mode, who really cares too much.
On the other hand, the Sony has a 4.0x zoom whereas the Kodak has a 3.0x zoom. The Sony starts wider so there's a little more range than the Kodak.
Finally, if you have SD cards that you plan on using, I would opt for the Kodak as the Sony accept MemorySticks.
When it comes down to it, these are basic point and shoots and I would leave your decision to cover price, range/zoom, memory card format, and operation.
Either way, you won't make a "wrong" decision as they'll both get the job done. If you're looking for a high end p&s, then consider the Canon S90/95 or Panasonic LX series.
