I bought a Sony Cyber-shot years ago form FS. Just starteded using again. was working downloaded pictures to computor. Was fooling around with settings etc. Now power shuts off whenever I change to camera or video. Can any one help.

- What's the camera model?
- How many years have you had the camera?
- How old is the battery?
- What happens after you charge the battery up?
First guess?
- downloading pictures doesn't use much power.
- using the camera or video model drains the power more.
- you might need a new lithium battery. Small lithium rechargeables batteries have problems after a few years. It's a big reason why I seek out cameras that takes AA's. A little bulkier, but the AA's can be replaced for less than a Japadog.
