Does Future Shop sell cell phones at full price, without a contrat? I as because Rogers screwed up buy giving me a phone I wasnt actually eligible for at the time by mistake and so they are not allowing any upgrades until the full 3 years are up (i am 1.5 years into the contract) depite being with them for about 8 years.

Otherwise Yes, I upgraded to a Telus Blackberry 9800 a few years ago before my previous contract was up.

This is option is very handy if a phone is lost or stolen.

Also speak to Rogers about your options.
