Looking for a basic smartphone and trying to decide between the above models. I prefer the Samsungs , however I'm a bit confused about the Ram. Both the Gio and Ace have 278 mg ( and 800mhz procesors ) where the LG has 512 mg ram and only a 600mhz processor.
Reviews seems to indicate that the Samsungs are good performers despite the lesser ram. I'm not a gamer, or likely to run every installed app at once...I'd just like reasonably snappy performance. Comments appreciated.
Once area of concern is ICS ? Indications are that the minimum requirements would be 256 mg ram I believe , although I have seen it running on the Ace on YouTube..?
