My ALT key came off my Blackberry today, it is only 9 months old and I paid for the 3 year warranty on my phone, will this cover the damage? I "WAS" told that I would get a replacement phone should this happen but I hear Futureshop is very picky with their warranty's and tend to not honour alot of things within it finding some kind of loop hole. Just hoping that this is covered since that is what I WAS told.

This is exactly what I am talking about, it has almost been a month. And I still have had no response from futureshop "Customer Service". I pay 400 dollars, to have my phone covered. If I cannot even use the warranty to cover this damage I want my money back, utterly ridicoulous and further backing up the stories I have heard about futureshop, its warranties, and customer service.

I mean, I buy a phone 600 dollars, a laptop 2200 dollars, a LED TV, 800 dollars, a netbook, 450 dollars. All with warranties ect because I trusted futureshop. And this is the kind of service I am provided? I spend 3000 dollars with your company and this is the manner of service I receive? If this issue is not attented to soon you can expect this to be my last purchase. Thank you.

Unlike other phones, the Blackberry was designed to be easily serviceable (eg the battery).

A technician just needs to pop some snaps, unbolt some security screws and the defective keyboard can be swaped out in minutes.  You will not need a new phone.
