Just got a 9700 to replace my 9530 and the profiles will not save. They keep resetting causing some things, beejive, twitter etc... to always be on silent. I'm wondering if there is a fix for this or if it is a defect with the phone and if I will need to get a new 9700.

- custom back up your blackberry (only the things you really need)

- security wipe your 9700

- custom restore your (competitor) (only the things you need)

I've found the software to be glitchy on the 9700 (telus)... had to do that once to to fix things... same with friend's.

It doesn't always restore the software properly so you have to  wipe it once or twice to get it good.
