I really like this set. Sound quality is excellent and the range is good. It gives you the benefit of a corded phone plus the range of cordless. You can also expand it up to six handsets, but you would have to either ask specifically in-store if they can get you an additional handset or go to a competitor. The phones also use something called "Night mode" where you can set one or more handsets to not ring during a specific period of time, so that you aren't woken up in the middle of the night by phone calls. It also includes a digital answering machine - you can still use voicemail if you have it through your service provider, though - and caller ID - you need to subscribe to this through your service provider. There is also a belt clip and a jack for a headset (sold separately). I have discovered that the wired headsets for the XBox 360 work with these phones (very handy).
This is the set I use, though I have two handsets plus the corded phone. The absolute best part of it is that the cordless phones use rechargable AAA NiMh batteries rather than the standard cordless phone battery packs. This means that if the batteries die, you can just buy more rechargable AAA batteries rather than trying to find the battery pack made specific for your phone that costs a ridiculous amount of money.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone above just about any other cordless phone.
