Apple does not give out codes AT ALL, because iPhones are locked in a completely different way than any other phones, and cannot be unlock with a simple code. The "lock" state is maintained centrally in Apple's database, not on the phone.
Apple granted Rogers and Fido access to the database to allow them to unlock iPhones that they sold. Currently there is absolutely no way to formally unlock a Telus iPhone. Apple won't do it. Telus won't do it.
All other methods provided by "3rd parties" do not actually unlock the phone, they just work around the lock mechanism.
