I bought an 8310 discounted. and was told by the employee that if i bought the product exchange plan that i would get a new one if anything goes wrong.
My phone is constantly freezing, won't send half my outgoing messages, cuts out when calls come in. does that count as something wrong? because to me you would think when it freezes, cuts out and doesnt allow outgoing messages, that something is wrong right? So am i able to go into the store and replace my blackberry with a new one as i was told by thee associate? someone else said because it was discounted, i will only get a phone worth the total i purchased it for, not an equal phone. i dont think that seems fair when i was told otherwise. what do i do?
and does anyone have the number to reach the PEP people? so i can ask over the phone before going into the store?

You can call Customer Support: 1-800-663-2275 │ service@futureshop.com about the PEP and PSP. As for could it be replaced for those issues. Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. It's probably best to take it to the store and try to have them do it for you. The worst that will happen is they say no and tell you why.
It sounds like it may be a software issue on your phone though, too. So maybe a call to your service provider's tech support could help get it working right.

This sounds like a service issue with the carrier for not sending the messages... you need to call *611 on the phone and speak with the carrier customer service to do a reset on that part of your service. I have seen this many times and 99/100 times it is fixed that way
Freezing could be numorous things.. I would use your blackberry software, back up your phone and download the latest software version available and see how that goes.
If it continues, alot of blackberry users do a battery pull to reset things.
If it still continues, and you have done these steps then you we would in the store verify that it is doing what you are saying ... and if we could.. you would get an instore exchange....

I had a lot of Java problems with 8830. In addition to battery pulls...
- Alt L, Alt G, Alt L, Alt G will pull up the event log to be cleared for more memory
- Alt, RShift, Del will do a soft boot.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49VFFnw7dqQ
- Do a lot of web browsing? Don't forget to clear your cache....
Agree with the initial assessment.... it sounds like a reception issue, rather than phone.
