We have a number of Blackberry phones. I had a three of them become defective. One was dropped too many times, one went dead, and one of them had an intermittant problem with the track ball.
On each of the occasioins, I called my service provider to arrange service from Blackberry. I had to send the phones. They took an average of about two to three weeks to service the phones. When the phones came back they worked perfectly without flaw.
