We're kicking off 2009 with a bit of a Community facelift!
Starting this Friday (January 23), you'll notice that the Community landing page is a lot more informative and a lot less red... Why the change? The old landing page just wasn't able to capture the dynamism of our Community. This change will provide people with a real-time glimpse into what is going on in our Community - from who's online, to the latest posts and Community news - this page will never be the same from one visit to another.

We've grown the Community to the point where we just can't sustain the number of icons that we needed for the number of boards that we were creating. It's going to be an adjustment, but looking down the road to some of the other feature upgrades that we'll be getting over the next few months, it makes sense to eliminate this piece of the Community. I'm sure we'll all be clicking at random on the left side of the page for the next couple of weeks as we adjust to life post-sidebar navigation, but this will be a good thing for the Community going forward.
So take some time to check out the changes and be sure to let us know what you think! This landing page refresh is only the start - there's still lots more to come in the future!
