There’s nothing better than a good Tech Spree! Why? Because group buying is AWESOME!

Call everybody, they’re going to want in on this.

Starting tomorrow Tuesday, November 16, until Thursday, November 18, Future Shop is officially launching Tech Spree - a great new way to shop on futureshop.ca.  Tech Spree empowers customers to leverage group buying power to obtain incredible prices on popular electronics. The Tech Spree is “on” only if the required number of persons commit wanting to purchase the item, so customers are techspree.jpgencouraged to invite friends and family to participate. Customers may commit to one of the Tech Spree offers once. Limit of one of each Tech Spree per household. The deal is available only online and while quantities last.  Because this is a “limited time offer”, Tech Spree deals are not eligible for our Lowest Price Guarantee.

What’s the Spree process?

Great question.

  1. Find a TECH Spree deal you love. Pre-order it!
  2. You’ll get a Pre-Order Confirmation Email - this just confirms that we’ve received your pre-order, it doesn’t confirm that the Spree is on yet! That’s your cue to share it with friends and family!
  3. If the Spree is on you’ll get a Spree Confirmation Email! Sweet!  Your order is confirmed.  If the Spree expires without hitting the Spree Limit you’ll get a sad email that breaks the bad news.  Your order is cancelled.
  4. Your Spree order will be processed and you’ll receive a Shipping Confirmation Email.

UPDATE: some people have been asking, and the threshold for Tech Spree is 50 units per offer!  Check this page tomorrow for all the details on offers.

Take a look at this page: futureshop.ca/techspree tomorrow for a complete list of deals and start spree-ing!  Invite friends and family to a Tech Spree deal, and get the latest, coolest, and most fun gadgets and gear for unbelievable prices.

Not that great a deal on the Compaq Presario for $299, it has 2GB RAM

Future ship said the value was worth $476

you can get it at (competitor) for $399 with 3GB RAM

if RAM costs about $60 This would mean that the $299 is not such a great deal

and where do you come up with the $476 initial price, when you can buy it at NO DEAL from (competitor) for $399

My previous post was deleted. It wasn't rude, but was critical. Let's try a question, instead:

Do the E-readers include the zippered case described in the text, or the flip-cover shown in the picture? For the original price of $239, it would have to be the flip case from Sony, but I'd like to know for sure.

Can anyone elaborate?
