As one of the Tech Yeah Community's longest standing members, Snapshot has been hanging out with us for over 4 years now! In relationship terms, things are getting pretty serious. We're shopping for rings. Speaking of shopping, Snapshot is the woman you want to talk to if you are in the market for a new TV, or a camera, or really anything. She's a 2-time Shout-Out Award winner, a mega Roxette fan, a Community Ambassador and can help you calibrate your TV.

Who is Snapshot?

Today, we’re learning who vhillel is.  We know he’s been a frequent poster in the forums for over a year now, that he’s an associate at our Boucherville Future Shop in Appliances – but what else? Well, he’s also very much into Madonna, the early years. I must admit, I was a bit surprised to learn this, but that’s what makes this community so great! All the unique people who make it up

But really, who is vhillel?

Look! It's mtrump. Or at least, it's mtrump's vision of himself.. if he were a dog. I asked him for a picture for his "Who is" profile and he sent me Snoopy, aka "Joe Cool", which makes sense because, as he put it, he loves Snoopy, he was born in the year of the dog, he never goes outside without sunglasses & he predicts that as he ages, he'll begin to look more and more like Snoopy.

mtrump has been hanging out with us for a very long time, he joined the Community in 2007 and has been one of the most consistent members throughout the years.  He's answered well over 1,000 questions, made the honour roll a few times and has even been repping as a Community Ambassador.

Hello MayA200!  This is a timely introduction, as I'm please to announced that MayA200 has recently been invited to join the Community Ambassador team.  He's been active for about a year and a half in the forums and has proven himself to be quite a valuable member on our Computer & Laptop Hardware board. He's frequently gracing the weekly Honour Roll for his contributions and general helpfulness.

We know he knows computers, but what other piece of technology can't he live without? Read on to find out.

Well look who it is! It's Evan_F: everyone's favourite (and most handsome) newcomer of the year for the 2011 Shout-Out Awards!  He only started participating in the community a year ago, but has quickly become one of the most consistent and respected contributors.  A frequent member of the Honour Roll, he's always helpful, friendly and goes out of his way to make sure the question gets answered.  Officially, he's an entertainment associate, but unofficially, he's knowledgeable and active across many-a board throughout the Community.

I was forced to look up 2 words he used in his "who is" answers... one of them isn't even in the dictionary, so I still have no idea what it means. But, if Evan says he's full of marple, then I'm inclined to believe him.

If you've spent any time hanging about the Tech Blog, you'll be no stranger to the name trishussey.  Tris has been with the blog since we launched 2 years ago, covering many-an-Apple announcement during his reign (like this, for example)!  He's sort of man-about-town, jack-of-all-trades type fellow, plus, he's a published author! So the guy knows about stuff, so we best get to knowing more about him!

ooops! Missed last week's who is (sorry y'all), but am back this week with a top notch member: everyone's favourite bringer of the gaming news: Godwin! If you've spent any time in the gaming boards, especially the trading post forum, you'll know who I'm takling about.  Godwin works here at head office with me in the gaming department and diligently spreads the good word of trade-in offers and pre-orders to the masses. Where would we be without him? I don't even want to think about it.

Also, GO Canucks GO!

DjDATZ is super excited to be featured in this week's "Who is...", you can tell just by looking at him. And trust that I am just as equally thrilled to be featuring him in this week's "Who is...". He's been with us since the very beginning and is our resident Xbox expert.  He's also recently become a member of the elite Microsoft MVP program for his insane knowledge of the Xbox, so he deserves a fist pump and high five for that achievement!

But he's so much more than just your average Xbox genius, read on to learn more!

I dug deep into the archives to find Tanarus' very first post in the Community from way back in July of 2007.  I think you'll find that it's classic Tanarus - clear, thoughtful & friendly.  It's because of posts like these that he's been voted Product Expert of the Year for every year the Shout-Out Awards has been running (2009, 2010, 2011)!  Plus, he's got wit to spare.  PLUS, he's a bird whisperer.  You're curious to learn more about him, I can tell.

The guy in this picture being eaten (by who I'm told is Piranha Joe) is none other than Community Ambassador of the Year, Juice0904!  I guess he survived the attack with at least a finger or two seeing as he's been one of our strongest contributors to the Community over the past year.  Besides being nimble enough to escape the jaws of giant fish, what else have I learned about our friend Juice?  Well, I know who I'm calling if my TV needs connecting...
