Auto-suggest helps you quickly narrow down your search results by suggesting possible matches as you type.
Some service providers will only work with specific modems as well, so first you would have to check what is compatible with your provider. Second, as Juice mentioned, high speed modems are typically capable of much more than what your service provider allows you for speeds. The only exception is if you have an older modem(more than 4 or 5 years old), it's possible that the modem can't keep up with your internet speed.
