I purchased a Comstar external 1 TB hard drive in 2006. We've been using it to back up all of our family photos and videos. Unfortunately during a recent move, the power cable was misplaced and an incorrect power cord was plugged in and the power circuit board inside this external enclosure is toast. I'm looking at finding a replacement. I guess Futureshop doesn't sell these anymore. The hard drives are 2 western digital 500gb drives on a RAID 0 controller. Do I need to get the same comstar external enclosure or can I a different manufacturer to test my drives on this RAID 0 controller??????
