Concerning a product returning (Video card)

I just bought a video card at FutureShop this past friday (Nov.19) for my friend's computer.
She didn't know much about her computer components, so I was guessing I'd go with a PCIe video card since she bought a new computer and in my mind, it was likely to be PCIe compatible but I was wrong.
As we were gonna install it, it turned out to be AGP compatible.
I went to buy an AGP video card... and now I'm thinking of returning the PCIe one to Future Shop.
Will they refund? And would it be possible in cash or it really has to be in credit card?
I did open the box which was wrapped by typical transparent plastic though. But other than that, nothing has been lost and used inside that box. I also have the receipt with me.
I just wanna make sure before returning (or before driving all the way there and get denied).
Some stores were strict on not returning articles that have been unwrapped so who knows with FutureShop, that's why I ask this (even though I've read the policy but I was still a bit unsure of my situation)... ![]()
I've read I could return a product to any FutureShop and it doesn't have to be exactly the one where I bought... I hope that's true too because I passed by the one that was miles away.
I'm expecting a response to this thread before it's too late. ![]()

There may be a restocking fee. If you call them they will tell you. Cheers.

You can find Future Shop's retail store policies here.
You can return the video card to any Future Shop within 30 days of purchase, as long as you have your receipt. You'll also need the original method of payment -- if you paid with a credit card, you'll need the credit card to get the refund. There is no restocking fee.
