Any PC2-4200 (533mHz) or PC2-5300 (667mHz) DDR2 desktop memory should be compatible with your system, according to HP's specifications.
Future Shop sells Kingston memory online and Lexar memory in-store that should suit your needs.

That's right. 32-bit Vista and Windows 7 can only actually address a little over 3 GB worth of RAM -- to make use of more, you'll need to wipe the system and install a 64-bit version of your operating system.
According to the given specs, the maximum memory the motherboard can handle is 4GB. Since it has 4 slots, you'll only be able to use 1GB memory sticks -- 2GB sticks are out of the question. You can get two 1GB RAM sticks and use those, though. Since the computer already comes with 2GB, though, I don't recommend any more than a 1GB upgrade, unless you're planning on installing 64-bit Windows. (And even then, the fourth memory stick can wait until you've actually done the 64-bit install -- if you even need 4GB at all!)
