The battery died really quickly on my Acer Netbook (within six months).

Three questions: is there a flaw with the battery type -- Sanyo Li-ion UM08A31?

Is one supposed to remove the battery when the computer is plugged in?

Does Future Shop stock replacements, and what price?

If there is something wrong with the battery then it should be covered for one year from the data of purchase.  Futureshop can have it sent in for repair for you, or you can contact Acer and send it to them yourself.
