Since Windows ME has been outdated by Windows XP, Vista, and now Windows 7, manufacturers generally do not focus on compatibility with Windows ME. I don't believe any of the wireless USB adapters Future Shop currently carries work with Windows ME or earlier. Having said that, Future Shop used to carry some wireless USB products made by Trendnet which were Windows 98/ME compatible -- it might be worth your while to hunt those down, if you don't want to upgrade your system altogether.
