Re: how does the Epson Workforce 310 all in one inkjet print...

Epson is a very reliable product and is hard to compare if we don't know exactly what we are comparing it to... Next time add which product you would like to compare to. Epson has more of a sleek-new design to it, while HP is very popular across homes.

Thanks,

Stephen Richardson

Re: how does the Epson Workforce 310 all in one inkjet print...

Hi there,

What type of and how much printing would you be doing with this printer?  Do you print a few times a week or go through a couple of reams of paper a month?  Also do you want to be able to print great photos and brochures or do you mostly print plain text?

Answering these questions will help to make a proper recommendation for your needs.  HP has two great lines of printers for the home use and depending on what your needs are, a  PhotoSmart or an Office-Jet solution might be best.

I would also look into the overall cost of ownership and not just the sticker price or even the price of inks for  the machine you are interested in buying.  Multi ink systems are usually more efficient on ink because you only replace the colour of ink that you run out of.  In addition XL cartridges and more expensive ink cartridges can often be the better value as their projected page yield is usually much higher.  HP ink cartridges have a projected page yield printed on the box so you can easily compare an estimated cost per page between models.

All the best,
