Alienware m15x issues, important?

I bought an Alienware m15x last april at Futureshop. For a while everything has been fine but for about 2 months or so, Ive been having issues that im not sure if they are worth worrying about. Sometimes, the laptop just wont shut down through Windows, I have to click on power button to shut it down. When I turn it on, it does a cracking noise coming from the hardware itself and not the speakers. Also, the sound, coming from the speakers tends to crackle while watching videos or listening to music etc. Also, there is sometimes white lines on the desktop wallpaper. Since I have windows 7 on it and I have different wallpapers, the line changes from one to another. I updated my graphics card drivers around 2 weeks ago, Should I be worried? Should I do something about it?

Thanks

Re: Alienware m15x issues, important?

I'd definitely get those issues checked out while the laptop is still less than a year old and covered under warranty. They may not be a big deal right now, but there's no telling if those issues may get worse in the future, or if they really are just symptoms of major issues.

Make sure you've backed up any personal data you have on the laptop, in the event the software and data is erased while the laptop is out for repair. Be sure to have your receipt handy, as well, as it will likely be needed to facilitate the repair.
