Gateway NV5909H Order Cancelled by FS

I made a purchase for the Gateway NV5909H for pickup at the Richmond Hill location and this morning, I found out that my order was cancelled. I'm very disattisfied with this as when I made the order, it said that the laptop was available for in-store pickup. Had I known this was going to be the case, I would've gotten it shipped instead. Even if the product isn't available, I wouldn't mind if it was backordered, then I pick it up once it's back in stock.

Had you received both emails regarding the pick-up? You receive the initial email stating that your pick-up order has gone through. There is a second email that may or may not come through depending whether the store actually has it in stock. The store stock checker online is not done in real-time, so what you may see as being in stock could have already been sold.
Had you received the second email stating that the product had been set aside for you, or just the first one stating that the store had been informed that you made a pick-up order? You aren't guaranteed the product until that second email comes through.

Just called Future Shop 3 different times. Twice to 1-800-663-2275 and once to a store that has the laptop in stock. At first I was told that I'd be able to match the price of the laptop that I was oging to pay for when I made the order. Now, despite my order becing cancelled because it's out of stock, they can't give it to me at the price that it was at when I made the order. The reps and store were giving me conflicting information. What do I do?
