I understand your frustration. I recently bought a Gateway NV5905 and found out that the video card was not a Mobility Radeon HD 5470 as it was advertised and so I called comsumer protection and they told me that if the store advertises a product and that is not what you get they must replace it with what they advertised, give you what was advertised or pay to install the video card they specified and since that may not be possible they should aleast pay the difference in price.
The owner of the store told me that there are two models available one with the Intel graphics media accelerator HD and the other with Mobility Radeon HD 5470 and he didn't realize that it wasn't the one he ordered so he will have to talk to the supplier to either get the same one advertised with the radeon card or pay the difference in the price for the cheaper Intel card. He seems willing to be co-operative. I'll keep you updated.
