Do you mean that the internet response in slow? I don't think that wireless card operation stresses the processor. Either the wireless network is slower or the internal wireless card itself is poor.
Did you just recently begin having these problems? Is the unit reporting strong signals from the wireless network?

A netbook is a great inexpensive way to get connected. Ideal for commuters, children and the workaholic. It gives you the light processing power required to put the finishing touches on word, excel or powerpoint documents, and enough processing power to do lightweight web browsing. Not reccomended for the average user or gamer.
A paperweight with a screen for any real tech-savvy folks out there, but overall it has some basic uses.

if you keep an eye out for AMD e-350 based systems they provide a decent web experience & can handle high-def playback... comparable to ION (Intel Atom + nVidia gfx) based systems performance wise.
currently rocking an e-350 based system attached to the back of my TV ![]()
not my primary machine though
