Hello,

I have a HP G series notebook laptop.  I have been experiancing problems with its speakers.  The volume is not tuning as high as it used too.  Please suggest and help.

Things I would check for...

• is there a volume dial on the side.... is it set to maximum?
• check the system tray... is the volume set to the maximum?
• check the control panel speaker setting, is it set to "surround" when you don't have surround?
• what software are you using?  what happens if you use different software, you might find different volume levels.
