I'm in the market for a new laptop. My Acer Aspire 4535 is starting to go, and I'm looking to try a new brand.
I'm looking to spend under $500, and it will be mainly used for internet browsing, schoolwork and streaming sports. I would like if it had an HDMI out on it aswell.
Any suggestions based on actual experience?
Thanks.

This Samsung would be the best for your money right now. The i3 is all you need for everyday use, has an HDMI port and decent battery life aswell.

Not to play devil's advocate but before choosing models, first of all look at your needs. The i3 is very versatile and good for the money but there are lots of models offering i3. Now I do like HP notebooks because of the variety available and the support they offer, also future shop is an HP authorized service center meaning they are able to order parts in house if the laptop were to ever have a problem. This is not the case with other brands but definately a factor you should consider looking at. Have a look at the lineup and compare!
