i am getting a dell inspiron with a i-7, 1tb hard drive, 8 gb memory, and 1 gb of graphics. would this computer be good for gaming. i run SWTOR so games like that

That should have no problem running most games that are out right now and even lots that are coming out.  Depending on which graphic card is in it would depend on how high graphics quality you get

The computer uses a nvidia geforce gt 525m 128 bit 1gb quad graphics card. Is that any good or should i upgarde it

Thats a great card you should have no problem running anything

Hi,

My wife just bought a Dell Inspiron and she took a 3 Years warranty at $300.  After 17 days, it's stop Woking and refuse to reboot.  A message informs me that a file is not working well and asked me to put the installation disc.  Future shop informs me that their return policy for a lap top is within 14 days and you need to keep all the boxes and instructions.  The 3 Years warranty that my wife bough for $300 didn't cover a software failure.  They proposed to sell me a recovery disc for 100$.  I refused, because I already burn them.  Now, I reinstall the recovery disc and I will lose all my documents.  For me, the Dell Inspiron is not a reliable machine and Future Shop didn't help me in that story.

$300 seems a little exaggerated for a warranty. If it the windows operating system that failed then it is usually covered under warranty
