Gateway is wholly-owned by Acer, one of the top manufacturers in the world.  If quantity and size doesn't impress you, then I'm sure there will be other people posting their opinions too. :smileyhappy:

I've never owned a Gateway, so I cannot say for sure what kind of quality they have, but I think of them as being like Acer.  They're a value brand and so the build quality is not as premium as some other brands like HP Pavillion or Sony VAIO laptops and netbooks.
