I was wondering what kind of desktop i should buy,,,,I really only want it to play counter strike, and day of defeat.....They are old games (but so am I).....I would like a gaming computer but I really don't want to over spend...I will still use the computer for Facebook and my kids Google things aswell....
You could probably get away with buying just about anything on the market. That said I still don't trust Intel's integrated graphics so I'd recommend an AMD system, for games like Counter Strike and Day of Defeat something like this machine should be more than sufficient.
Have a look at the HP Pavilion Elite h8 , they go from $649 to $899, depending on the type of gaming your doing, you could be very pleased with the outcome for price!
