In a quick answer The T4400 is better than the M320

Price wise AMD is cheaper

but speed, power consumed, and heat generated Intel is better.

I suggest you take a look at the Intel website and AMD one and compare.

No - not always.

For one, the AMD M320 has hardware virtualization, while the T4400 does not.  If this feature is important to you (eg. running Virtual PC), then T4400 would not be the appropriate choice.
