Hello, my subs only work for a minute or two after I turn my vehicle on. I have the mtx dual subs with 1600 watt max in the ported box matched with a 1200 watt mtx amp. I got it all in at futureshop vernon. Ive checked the connections theyre good

If it was installed at Future Shop then all you need to do is bring the vehicle back to them and they will troubleshoot the problem for you. Workmanship is warrantied for lifetime of the vehicle, and products usually a minimum of 1 year, or up to 4 years if you purchased the service plan.

Is the amp turning off? or overheating very quickly?

is there a trouble type light on the amp? check they manual for how to read the lights on the amp to troubleshoot.

I'd try hooking up another speaker to the amp, and trying it at low volume to see if the sound cuts out. Then you can rule out the amp or the speakers as the problem
