Hi All,

I am looking to find out what i am looking at in install costs for a Nordic 1-Way Remote Car Starter (NS1074) in my 2006 Honda Civic.

I am pretty sure my car has a chip in the key or some similar type of factory provided anti theft system, but otherwise it is a very basic civic. It has remote lock/unlock on the key. I would like to know how much i would be looking at on top of the 149.99 for the starter (which includes basic install. I would like for the starter remote to do the lock/unlock function as well

A full breakdown would be greatly appreciated

NS1075 remote starter with basic install is $149.99+tax

Transponder interface is $99 + $60 (1 hour labour) for install of the module (this will do keyless too).

Suggest adding Panic/Locator feature for $40. Good personal safety feature to have on any car remote.

I purchased a used vehicle and it has the  Nordic 1-Way Remote Car Starter in it.  It functioned when I purchased the vehicle. I had to get a spare key for the vehicle and it was a chiped key so they had to program the key, since then my remote doesn't start the vehicle.  Is there a program sequence that can be preformed to make the remote start the vehicle again or did they fry the remote from starting the vehicle?
