This is Kind of a tough one to Program Unless you are Familiar with this system, but I will try.
Under the Hood there should be a Pin Switch, ( Brass or Silver in color threaded metal tube with a spring loaded stem on top these commonly corroded so have some WD40 on Hand) Locate the pin switch mounted under the hood of the vehicle(You could use the PAB button on the Main Module but if the Pin Switch does not make a solid ground connection when pressed the PAB Programming Assistance Button will not activate.
To ensure the Hood Pin Switch is contacting properly when found push down on this switch if the park light function was connected in your vehicle at time of installation your parklights will come on with vehicle hood open if this does not happen press the switch down and spray the connector on the bottom where the Brown wire is connected with WD40 let go and rotate the plunger with side to side motion with slight upward pressure this will clean away the corrosion not allowing the switch to complete the circuit. You made need to do this a few times. Once this is done and when depressed and let go of quickly the Park lights should come on. This will now allow you to enter Programming Mode.
1 Press hood pin switch down for 10 seconds, quickly release pin switch parklights will come on, immediately press and release the pin switch again the parklights will now stay on for 20 seconds
2 Enter vehicle turn ignition to the on position press and hold the LOCK button on the remote control you should hear one click(easiest with the radio and heater turned off so you can also hear the click of the module) continue holding the LOCK button and you will then receive several clicks from the module and parklight flashes to confirm remote programming is successful
3 Turn Ignition Off Close vehicle hood. Test Functions of remote control
Please remember sometimes the remote programming can be a little tricky or if the pin switch is missing or broken you wont be able to enter remote programming.
