Questions about Speaker Installation w/ ConnectPro

[ Edited ]

So I'm thinking of purchasing the Infinity Reference 5 speakers for my car. (http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/infinity-reference-5-1-4-2-way-car-speaker-5032cf/10121794.as...)

Just had a couple questions..

1. Does the $139 price include two speakers for both sides or just one?

2. Do these speakers come with seperate tweeters?

3. How much is installation and is it possible for these speakers to be installed into my OEM system?

Last but not least, if the speakers do come with seperate tweeters, how much does it cost to install those? Because my car currently only has the 4 standard speakers.

And if there is anything else I should know, please let me know.

Thanks in advance!

Price includes two speakers.

Those infinity reference speakers are coaxials, so they have the tweeter physically mounted in the speaker. If you wanted separates (or component speakers) we have JVC, Alpine and Infinity Kappa series.

Install depends on the type of vehicle and how complicated the dash, door panel or rear panel is to remove.

Speaker installs start at $40+$5 mat. charge and up (for a pair). Talk to the installer for a price

And yes the infinity reference series is a very good factory upgrade for almost every system

Re: Questions about Speaker Installation w/ ConnectPro

Nice. Thanks for replying.

Just a few more questions. Does Future Shop warranty the installation service? In case something breaks after the speaker install? And are the OEM speakers kept in original condition in case I want to re-install them back?

It will be for a 2010 Toyota Corolla, if you could estimate a price for me that'd be awesome.

Thanks, wish you were in Calgary, I'd definitely bring my car to your location.

We have a lifetime warranty on the workmanship. Just keep your receipt, and if you have any issues just let us know and will troubleshoot the issue for free under the lifetime warranty (no diagnostic fees here!!).

The speakers will have their own warranty or we do offer a Product Service Plan to fully cover the speakers for up to 4 years.

The OEM speakers are yours to keep. If nothing needs to be altered in the vehicle to fit the new speakers, then we will also reinstall the OEM's back in the vehicle down the road (no charge if nothing is modified), just keep that receipt and work order (good value for a leased vehicle).

2010 Toyota Corolla's speakers should be fairly close in size to infinity reference speakers (basket and magnet will be bigger). You should be looking at around an hour to do the front door speakers and the same for the rear deck speakers. If you do them at the same time, some stores may drop the price of the install a bit. So anywhere from $100 to $130 for the install of all four speakers.
