Hello:
I have a 2010 Audi A3 with the factory CONCERT radio
Only connection for iPod is via headphone output of ipod to receptacle in armrest
Any possibility of replacing the factory radio with 3rd party units such as the Alpine CDA105 ?
How big a job is this going to be and will the new unit fit the existing space ?
I assume I will lose connectivity with the control knobs in the steering wheel ?
Thanks so much !
Stephen

absolutely!!!!
They are custom order parts but are available for you vehicle.
Mounting kit -> roughly $40 to $60
Radio replacement interface module -> $229
antenna adapter -> $18 to $49 (depending on connection and if it's amplified)
steering wheel button interface -> $150
All these prices are just rough estimates
The module is needed so you retain:
I'd recommend installing a Navigation deck with a usb ipod connection - because you can fit a double din unit in the vehicle.
as always drop by a store with the car for an accurate quote
cheers.
