Re: looking to install viper 5101

Hi there surfguy17. I just checked idata and it doesnt show that you need a bypass module installed which is good for you because it would have cost 200 just for that. Its not 100% set though, you would need to ask an installer if you needed one to be certain.

so for that starter is 170 essential install included. if you have a factory alarm it would be 40$ to bypass, if it is manual it is 80$ to make it work, those are all that is needed for a basic install. options are keyless entry-70$, rear defrost-70$, trunk release-50$, starter kill antigrind-50$, parking light flash-40$.

so thats all you need for the quote! just add up what you need and then whatever options you would like added on.

cheers,

Haris

Re: looking to install viper 5101

no worries.

and yeah there is a panic/horn feature. i beleive it is 50$ give or take 10 dollars.

Have you ever turned the key to start your car while it was already on? and it makes the worst grind ever? if you do that accidentally and you have the feature, the car will kill itself before it can do any damage.

Re: looking to install viper 5101

and a lot of the add ons are dependant on the car, so the installer would have the final say on what can be done and what cant
